Dealer Principal Steve Batton

Steve started his career in the boating industry at the age of 10. By 13, he’d sold his first boat and was attending all the major boat shows.

After University & 4 years as an Option Broker in a leading Stockbroking firm, he decided to follow his true passion for boats and took on a partnership in a prominent boat brokerage. The business grew to be one of the most successful boat brokerages in Australia.

Steve jumped at the chance of becoming the Sydney Maritimo dealer and created Steve Batton Marine (SBM) in early 2010.

Steve’s an extremely passionate boatie with strong family values of honesty and integrity. He is married and has two wonderful children, who are equally mad about boats. He believes his exceptional after sales service sets him apart from other dealers, and is the reason why hundreds of boat owners around Australia call him a friend, not a salesman.
